Jewellery Cleaning & Care

Ways to Care For and Clean your Jewellery

Put on your jewellery after applying perfumes, lotions, and cosmetics to help prevent tarnishing and discolouration.

Keep pieces in the individual pouches or presentation box your jewellery arrives in to prevent scratching, tangling, and exposure to air.

Wipe jewellery with a soft polishing cloth after wearing to remove oils and dirt. Silver and gemstones can also be cleaned gently with warm soapy water and dried thoroughly.

Gold-plated pieces and precious stones are more delicate, so avoid harsh cleaning and excessive handling.

Chlorine, salt water, sulphur, and prolonged exposure to water can damage jewellery. Always dry pieces thoroughly before storing.

Finally, we have put together a selection of tried and tested products that can help prevent, or if your jewellery is left in its box a little too long, can remove excessive tarnishing.
