CATHERINE'S BIOGRAPHY

'Its not what you look at but what you see'.

Catherine Zoraida was born in tropical South America but fused with her Scottish upbringing she developed an impeccable eye for style and detail at an early age that has now seen her work be handpicked by highprofile clients including the very inspiring Duchess of Cambridge. With the incredible success of her debut collection 'Finders Keepers' she is very proud to introduce her new collection 'Eden' named after her late mother to celebrate the beauty of life.

In 2000 Catherine studied at art school at Edinburgh College of Art under the predicious eye of Dorothy Hogg where she graduated in Jewellery and Silversmithing with a Goldsmiths award for design under her belt. She was quickly nurtured by jewellery titans, Theo Fennell and Graham Stewart to guide her in master craftsmanship in Fine Jewellery. Being also highly influenced by the fashion world she then designed coveted collections for many great British designers including Vivienne Westwood, Matthew Williamson and Lulu Guinness to name but a few.

Catherines originality and confidence stem from her fantastic apprenticeships with high carat names in the worlds of jewellery and fashion design.  She now uses the combination of both worlds to create exciting and playful pieces that are exquisitely handcrafted and made in England as she constantly draws influences from her magical experiences and surroundings.
